Daniel Do, D.D.S.
Dr. Daniel Do is a graduate of LSU School of Dentistry. His goal is to constantly seek new avenues for education and he has great interest in various areas of dentistry. Dr. Do loves music, food and cooking. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the Louisiana Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentistry.
Ryan Higgins, D.M.D.
Dr. Ryan Higgins received his Bachelor of Science from the University of Connecticut and his dental degree from the University of Connecticut School of Dentistry. He is currently completing a residency in Periodontics at LSU School of Dentistry in New Orleans. Dr. Higgins’ hobbies include golf, watching sports and trying new restaurants. He is excited to get to know New Orleans and follow LSU football.
Joseph R. Lacoste, Jr., D.D.S.
Dr. Lacoste was born and raised in the New Orleans area. After graduating high school from The New Orleans Academy in 1972, he received his undergraduate degree from the University of New Orleans. He then went on to receive a Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from the Louisiana State University School of Dentistry in New Orleans in 1980.Dr. Lacoste is a member of the American Dental Association, the Louisiana Dental Association, the New Orleans Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry. He always finds time to be with family and friends, and enjoys fishing and playing music.
Eric M. Macaluso, D.D.S. – Orthodontist
Dr. Eric M. Macaluso is a life-long resident of the New Orleans metropolitan area and a proud alumnus of Jesuit High School and the University of New Orleans. After receiving his doctorate of dental surgery from Louisiana State University School of Dentistry, Dr. Macaluso completed his orthodontic residency at Louisiana State University.
Ronald A. Mancuso, Jr., D.D.S.
Dr. Mancuso was born in New Orleans and graduated Jesuit High School before receiving his undergraduate degree from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge. He went on to receive his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Louisiana State University School of Dentistry in New Orleans in 1976.
Among other positions, he served as Chairman for the New Orleans Dental Conference and had the pleasure of being its representative at several Dental meetings.
He enjoyed practicing family dentistry in his private Metairie practice for many years and continues to always enjoy the people aspect of dentistry.
Dr. Mancuso and his wife, Lee, reside in Old Metairie. They have two grown children and five young grandchildren. This brings lots of family fun along with other favorites — duck hunting, fishing, cooking the “catch of the day” and cheering the LSU Tigers and New Orleans Saints. Game days are always favorite days to make a gumbo!
Lida Mirzai, D.M.D. – Oral Surgeon
Dr. Lida Mirzai is an oral maxillofacial surgeon practicing in Louisiana. She received her doctor of dental medicine degree at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Following that she completed her internship at Louisiana State University where she received extensive training in dentoalveolar cases and facial trauma. She then completed her residency training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Kansas City. During that time, she obtained her general surgery certification at the Level 1 trauma center at University Health Truman Medical Center.
Dr. Mirzai has expertise in multiple aspects of her field and is especially thrilled to bring her extensive experience in facial cosmetics and injectables to our patients. Her other surgical interests include impacted Wisdom teeth, Dental Implant Surgery, Benign Pathology and many others.
In her spare time, Dr. Mirzai loves to hike, ride her bicycle, participate in yoga and Pilates, and travel around the world. Ask her about her last trip!
John Bosco Tran, D.D.S.
Dr. John Bosco Tran was born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana. After graduating from Jesuit High School in 2007, Dr. Tran went on to obtain his Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Xavier University of Louisiana in 2010. Dr. Tran continued studying at both Loyola University of New Orleans and the University of New Orleans, where at the latter he received his Bachelor of Science in Biology in 2012. He then earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from LSU School of Dentistry in 2018 and completed a hospital-based General Dental Residency at LSUHSC, University Medical Center Hospital, Louisiana Veteran Affairs Hospital, and Our Lady of the Lake Hospital. Dr. Tran is dedicated to treating all of his patients with the utmost care and respect, and he will always strive to provide the best service possible. He believes that patients are an extension of our family and should be treated as such. Dr. Tran is a die-hard member of the Who Dat Nation and enjoys playing sports, traveling, and spending time with family and friends in his spare time.
Long Truong, D.D.S.
Dr. Long Truong was raised in northern Louisiana. He received his Bachelor of Science at Louisiana State University and his Doctorate of Dental Surgery at LSU School of Dentistry. Outside of dentistry, Dr. Truong enjoys trying new restaurants, cheering for the Saints and LSU Tigers and spending quality time with his loved ones.
Ashley Vu, D.D.S.
Dr. Ashley Vu was born and raised in New Orleans. Being a city girl at heart, she graduated from St. Mary’s Dominican High School then continued her education at Xavier University of Louisiana, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in Biology and a minor in Chemistry. She earned a Doctorate of Dental Surgery at Louisiana State University School of Dentistry, where she also became a Tigers fan (Geaux Tigers!). During her time in dental school, Dr. Vu was part of the American Student Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry and participated in mission trips to Jarabacoa, Dominican Republic. She is currently a member of the Louisiana Dental Association, American Dental Association and Academy of General Dentistry. Outside of dentistry, Dr. Vu is a foodie that loves to travel. She enjoys going to yoga and spin classes to exercise and is a huge Starbucks lover!
